Project reporting and support

When a project has been granted funding in an open call, there may be some question marks regarding reporting, aids and roles of responsibility. Below you will find the basis for how our collaboration will look in the coming time. If you are a project manager for a strategic project, you will find information about reporting here.

The Swedish Energy Agency and RE:Source

RE:Source is financed by the Swedish Energy Agency, Vinnova and Formas, in addition the Swedish Energy Agency is also the coordinator of our program. RE:Source and the Swedish Energy Agency have a close collaboration regarding our projects, but our roles differ. The Swedish Energy Agency makes decisions on the projects and handles the financial aspects. The project manager must notify changes during the project period to the designated manager at the Swedish Energy Agency, where all final reporting is also done.

What can we at RE:Source help with?

Projects that are granted funds in the call are also given the opportunity to receive advice and support from the RE:Source program office. It is possible to get support in implementation, networking and communication and internationalisation. A large focus is on increasing the project’s visibility and dissemination of results during the course of the project, but we also want to create good conditions for the results to be taken forward after the funded period.

When your project starts, you will be called to a start-up meeting where you get to meet the program office and other projects that have been granted funding via RE:Source.

We strive to have a continuous dialogue with our projects and see ourselves as a supporting party throughout the course of the project. We are happy to collaborate on communication efforts during the project period. We also invest in being a hub and connecting projects that have similar issues or challenges.

More about the support you can get for your project

Communication efforts
Our communicators are on hand to strengthen communication efforts for the granted projects by communicating project results via, for example, Linkedin, press releases, the RE:Source website, direct communication with journalists, etc. We also often offer funded projects to speak at conferences, webinars, fairs, etc.

Internationalization consultancy
We encourage projects to also think outside Sweden’s borders and for those projects that are interested in exploring international markets or networks, we have the opportunity to put you in contact with a number of different organizations whose purpose is to increase Swedish exports and Swedish knowledge exchange with the outside world, often by offering different forms of financing. We are also happy to offer our granted projects to present in the many international contexts in which the RE:Source program office participates.

Implementation consulting
Granted projects can receive advice to increase the chances that the results of the projects will be actually used and implemented after the end of the project. For this we have a dedicated implementation manager.

Networking and matchmaking
Through our network, we can help granted projects get in touch with new collaboration partners, researchers, test facility beds, other financiers who can help the project further after the end of the project with us, etc.

Do not hesitate to contact us! You will find contact information for the respective area manager here.

Reporting of results during the project period

Reporting during the course of the project must take place according to the schedule specified in the granting decision. Recurrent reporting is sent to the Energy Agency via My Pages. Always enter the project number found in the decision. You can find all information about what must be reported to the Energy Agency here: Funding of research and innovation.

Final reporting of projects

Final reports and summaries are published on the Swedish Energy Agency’s and RE:Source’s websites and should be adapted to the right target group. Financial and administrative reports are not made public. All reports and presentations must be presented with the RE:Source graphic profile.
