System for manufacturing of lightweight concrete from recycled windmill-wing materials

The aim of the project is to investigate the technical, environmental and financial prerequisites for a light fill mass (intended to be used as a construction product) based on discarded wind turbine blades and waste material from the production of said blades. The Energy Agency deems that the project has the potential to contribute to the call since it addresses a waste fraction that is often downgraded through landfill or combustion, to make use of these materials in a new application.
